Tom believes that his role as an attorney is to help his clients solve problems and avoid disputes. Tom’s practice focuses on bankruptcy, commercial law, custody mediation, guardianships and conservatorships, child protection, estate planning, probate litigation, and appeals. Tom has served on the Professional Conduct Board with the Idaho State Bar since 2010. Previously, Tom served as an at-large member of the governing counsel of the Idaho State Bar Family Law Section, and he was the chair and treasurer of the Sixth District Family Law Section. Tom is also a recipient of the pro bono award from the Idaho State Bar.
Tom graduated from the S.J. Quinney College of Law at the University of Utah in 2009. Before attending law school, Tom worked several years as a police officer, district attorney investigator, and a juvenile drug court coordinator. In addition to his law practice, Tom has been a member of the Bannock County Planning and Development Council since 2012. Tom also holds a Master of Public Administration degree from California State University East Bay.
In his free time Tom enjoys camping with his two children, raising sheep and chickens, and gardening.
